Hans Christian Dall Nygård
CEO / Fund Manager
Hans Chr. Dall Nygård has been living in Russia since 1995, and has been responsible for several Russia-focused Private Equity investment funds within the listed investment group CapMan plc. He has raised capital from investors like EBRD, IFC, DEG, FMO, GIMV, DNB, Nordea, Ilmarinen, Varma etc. The funds have invested into more than 45 companies in various sectors in Russia. Most of the companies have been successfully exited. Together with Bjørn Celius, he established Kirkenes Fondsforvaltning AS in 2019, the company that is managing the State Investment Fund for North-West Russia and Eastern Europe. He holds an executive MBA from Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH).
Chairman / Fund Manager
Bjørn Celius has a professional background from the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy, as well as 30 years in DNB Bank ASA with, where he was responsible for the bank's follow-up of Norwegian business activities towards Russia. He was involved in the bank's acquisition of a Russian bank in Murmansk in 2005, and responsible for this bank for a 10-year period. Celius represented DNB in the Norwegian Russian Chamber of Commerce, and is currently member of the Chamber Council. Together with Hans Chr. Dall Nygård, he established Kirkenes Fondsforvaltning AS in 2019, the company that administers the Investment Fund for North-West Russia and Eastern Europe. Celius is graduated Master of Laws of the University of Oslo.
Thomas Holm Knudsen
Thomas Holm Knudsen has good knowledge of Norwegian business and has experience from investments in Russia, Ukraine and the Balkans. He has work experience from i.a. Carnegie, Nordea Markets and Fondsfinans. Knudsen graduated with a degree in Economics from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration, and holds an authorization as a financial analyst (AFA).
Solveig Steinmo has experience from various business sectors in Norway; manufacturing and development, contractor, consulting engineer and real estate companies. Steinmo has held board positions in Innovation Norway region Finnmark, Varanger Kraft and Kirkenes Næringshage. She is graduated Master of Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
